Providing Autism Assessment and Diagnosis in Lincolnshire
Our Autism Assessments
Priestley Psychological Services provides private autism assessments for children and adults across Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. Assessments are Clinical Psychologist-led, completed in your own home and discussed within a multidisciplinary team, in line with NICE guidelines. The fixed assessment fee is £1,895, which includes a comprehensive diagnostic report. A free 20-minute telephone consultation is available before arranging an assessment.
To make the assessment process as comfortable and accessible as possible, Dr Priestley will travel to complete the assessment in your home, or another convenient location within Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
Following completion of your assessment, Dr Priestley will provide a comprehensive psychological report detailing the outcome of your assessment, diagnosis (where appropriate) and recommendations. This formal Autism assessment can be used to support Education Health Care Plans (EHCP) but more crucially provides clarity on why you or your child, may have found certain aspects of life challenging for so long.
All our assessments follow NICE Guidelines.
Dr Joseph Priestley B.Sc., D.Clin.Psych
Dr Priestley is a Highly Specialist Child Clinical Psychologist practicing in the NHS and privately. He has over 16 years of experience working with people with a wide range of mental and developmental difficulties. Dr Priestley is trained in a variety of psychological treatment approaches (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy [CBT], Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing [EMDR], Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT], Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy [DDP] and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy [DBT]).
